Zoe Lister Jones (“Life in Pieces”, “How it Ends”) returns to the podcast. She is the writer, director and star of a new series produced by Roku called “Slip”. Restless in her marriage, Mae (Jones) finds herself in parallel universes, married to different people and trying to find a way back to her partner, and, ultimately, to herself. The series premieres on Friday, April 22nd.

Editors Michael Taylor, A.C.E. and Joseph Krings, A.C.E. pitched a series to the Metrograph art house cinema in Downtown NYC some months ago. The series -ACE Presents- would spotlight editors and editing with each screening. The series was approved warmly by Metrograph programmer Inge de Leeuw and began last Fall. No surprise that the series has been a hit, selling out regularly. Next up in the series is a screening of Mike Nichols’ iconic “The Graduate”. While the film’s editor, Sam O’Steen passed away in 2000, his wife Bobbie O’Steen —an editor herself and author of “The Invisible Cut: How Editors Make Movie Magic”— will be on hand for the Q&A following the screening to take place on Saturday, April 22nd. The Q&A will be moderated by their daughter, Molly O’Steen. In this conversation I am joined by editor Taylor, programmer de Leeuw, and both Bobbie O’Steen and Molly O’Steen.
