The filmmaker Andrew Semans returns to Filmwax after 9 years with his second feature film, a psychological thriller called “Resurrection“. A woman’s (Rebecca Hall) carefully constructed life is upended when an unwelcome shadow from her past returns, forcing her to confront the monster (Tim Roth) she’s evaded for two decades. The film is currently in select theaters and goes on demand today, Friday, August 5th. The film will become available on the streaming platform Shudder.

Actor Dee Wallace (“E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial”, “Cujo”) is the guest. In this segment she discusses her acting as well as her other career: the author of a series of motivational books.
