Making her first appearance on the podcast, filmmaker Sonia Kennebeck (“Enemies of the State”, “National Bird) discusses her new documentary about the NSA contractor turned whistle blower, Reality Winner. The film, “Reality Winner”, is now available on streaming platforms. Wim Wenders serves as an executive producer. It follows Reality Winner, who leaked a top secret document about Russian interference in the 2016 United States elections to the media. 

Making her first appearance on Filmwax, the filmmaker Frances Henderson with her directorial debut, the documentary “This Much We Know”. While investigating the suicide of Las Vegas teenager Levi Presley, Henderson uncovers the story of a city with the highest suicide rate in the country and a nation scrambling to bury decades of nuclear excess in a nearby mountain. The film is having its theatrical run at DCTV‘s Firehouse Cinema in NYC beginning Friday, November 10th.
