She is joined by Samantha Soule, actor and co-director/co-writer of the new dramatic feature “Midday Black Midnight Blue”. Isolated in an empty house, Ian grieves the loss of a woman he loved, who died two decades ago. With the memory clamoring to be released and his daily existence turning ever darker, Ian must find a way to let her go. The film premieres on demand on Friday, June 16th.

This is film journalist & author Josh Karp’s 4th visit to Filmwax. Josh lives in suburban Chicago, Illinois, with his wife, Susan, and their four sons. A journalist, writer and film producer. His first book, A Futile and Stupid Gesture, won best biography at both the Independent Publisher Book Awards and Midwest Book Awards in 2006. His first appearance on Filmwax came after he published “Orson Welles’ Last Movie: The Making of the Other Side of the Wind”. Josh recently published the article “A Cavalcade of Depravity” in Graydon Carter’s newsletter Airmail. The article tells the story of the unlikely making of the 1979 film “Caligula”.
