As part of a special partnership with the Vermont College of Fine Arts MFA Film Program, Filmwax Radio is proud to introduce a number of alums. These folks have created unique careers in the film world and are all dedicated to making very independent and courageous works. Next up in this series is the filmmaker Amy Hesketh who has made 6 features to date including her most recent which is due out soon, “Pygmalion”. In addition to being a graduate of the VCFA MFA in Film Program, Amy is also an adjunct professor of film at Olympic College in Washington State and one of the filmmakers at Pachamama Films.
The Vermont College of Fine Arts MFA Film program is ideal for filmmakers, screenwriters, and media artists who want to earn an affordable MFA while expanding their bodies of work and maintaining continuity in their professional and personal lives. Our highly self-motivated students have creative vision that defies a cookie-cutter approach. Throughout your two years at VCFA, you’ll actively and dynamically expand your body of work and creative resources, with self-designed projects in screenwriting, documentary film, narrative film, animation, and/or new media.
